Leaked tape: Actress Moyo Lawal threatens legal action

Following the public release of a video of her sex tape, Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has threatened to sue her ex-boyfriend for invasion of privacy.

Recall that the actress was in the news on Saturday after her private intimate video was leaked on social media.

Her fans and colleagues have had varying reactions to this.

Moyo responded to the leaked video in a public statement posted on her official Instagram page on Sunday evening, emphasising that the video was not intended for public consumption.

She threatened to take legal action for breach of her privacy.

She wrote: “A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without consent, violating my trust and privacy.

“I want to emphasize that this video done with my ex was never for public consumption, its unauthorized distribution is a breach of personal boundaries.

“This criminal breach of privacy will definitely be treated with legal action.”
