PEPT: Seyi Law receives backlash as he mocks Peter Obi’s supporters

Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, aka Seyi Law, a popular Nigerian comedian, is currently under fire for mocking supporters of opposition political parties in the aftermath of the Presidential Tribunal decision.

Remember that on Wednesday, the Labour Party’s Peter Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar lost to President Tinubu for the second time.

The President smiled as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared him the winner of the presidential election on March 1.

Seyi Law, an unabashed supporter of President Tinubu who had to gloat, took to the internet to celebrate the good news and mock supporters of Peter Obi.Many people were outraged by his statement and blasted him.

“You already failed at comedy,” one Loveliness wrote. I’m sorry, but I don’t have time for you.

“Seyi’s level of stupidity must be studied,” wrote King Thorba. Since the election, he has lost himself.

“Always trying to stay relevant,” wrote one Eva Comedy.

“Never seen someone’s complexion define them this bad!” wrote Temmi Are. The literal meaning of God forbid is a very dark human.

“These kinds of people actually make me very ashamed to be a Yoruba girl,” one Ajike wrote.

“Dead career mumu man and always chasing clout ode,” one Peaceful Baddie wrote.

He questioned if Obidients had started crying or were hoping for a rerun.

Seyi Law asserted that Peter Obi didn’t win the 2023 election and he knows it but only wanted Tinubu disqualified, because he thinks he has a better chance of winning a rerun.

“Have they started crying already, or are they still hoping for a rerun? What a waste”,

“I have said it before and I will say it again that PETER OBI knows he didn’t win the election. He knows. He only wanted Tinubu disqualified because he thinks he has a better chance of winning a rerun with @atiku”.

His statement didn’t sit well with many as they blasted him.
