Femi Adebayo arrests man for pirating ‘Jagun Jagun’ movie
Femi Adebayo, a Nollywood actor, has detained a man who has not yet been identified for pirating his recently released Yoruba film, “Jagun-Jagun.”
The actor posted the images to his official Instagram page and added that some other people involved in the act had been detained.
He wrote, “URGENT: Anti-Piracy Warning. Piracy is a criminal act that threatens the very essence of our creative industry. Persons have already begun pirating this labour of love.
“Some have been apprehended like in the photo, and we are relentlessly pursuing others and bringing them to book.
“Our search includes persons downloading the movie from unauthorized sites, including telegram groups.”
ER reports that Femi Adebayo had, during his recent interview, revealed he sold some of his properties to fund ‘Jagun Jagun’, which he described as a multi-million Naira project.
