Bobrisky loses father Kunle Okuneye

Crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has lost his father Kunle Okuneye.

A son of the deceased Debola Okuneye confirmed the news to PUNCH on Monday saying, “Yes, my father died this morning and we are making preparations for his burial.”

Another source simply known as Lastborn, who was a friend and colleague of Kunle, confirmed the development, adding that the deceased would be buried on Monday evening.

‘Yes, you saw it. It’s true, he will be buried by 4 pm today,” Lastborn confirmed.

The cause of death is yet to be revealed.

The deceased, a native of Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun State, will be laid to rest in his hometown.

Bobrisky recently claimed he underwent another Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery. In an Instagram post, he revealed his recovery process to his fans.

In June 2020, Bobrisky stirred controversy on social media by attending his father’s birthday party as a man.

A video emerged online showing Bobrisky dressed in black attire and a face cap without his regular makeover.

In June 2023, the controversial personality bought his father a Lexus SUV as birthday present.

He shared photos of the car on Instagram, adding that he would continue “spoiling” his father.

“It’s my dad birthday today!!! So I bought him dis clean machine…to surprise him today. Happy birthday daddy, may you live long for me. I can’t wait to continue spoiling you,” he wrote.

Last year, Bobrisky revealed that he opted for crossdressing in order to make ends meet after 25 years of being a man.
