Yul praises ‘most handsome’ Pete Edochie on 76th birthday

Yul Edochie, an actor, has dubbed his father Pete Edochie “the most handsome 76-year-old man alive” as he celebrates his birthday.

Yul made the announcement in an Instagram post on Friday, while sharing memories with his legendary father.

He said, “THE LION OF AFRICA! EBUBEDIKE. A LIVING LEGEND. THE GREATEST. THE MOST HANDSOME 76YR OLD MAN ALIVE. CHIEF PETE EDOCHIE @peteedochie Long life, good health and unending blessings, I pray for you Dad. My man for life.”

Pete recently made comments about Yul’s troubled marriage to May in an interview with Chude Jideonwo.

“First of all, Yul is 41 and I really don’t interfere in his affairs, no. Suddenly we heard he’s picked up a second wife. I have five sons, I don’t interfere with their lives, you know. If they say ‘Daddy, so and so thing is happening’, good. If they don’t tell me, I don’t bother. If they tell me, beautiful. We just heard it and that’s it,” the actor said.

Pete claimed that the success of Yul’s marriage to May was to the latter’s credit.

Yul responded by sharing a video on Facebook from a movie set where Yul’s second wife Judy Austin is seen on her knees begging Pete.

“Many people don’t know the real story. The real story will come out soon. Chief Pete Edochie, Judy Austin, Yul Edochie. This is how it all started,” he said.
