‘Nigeria breaks my heart everyday’ – Singer, Simi laments

Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, a popular singer, has lamented the country’s excruciating economic hardship.

She stated that the situation in Nigeria is breaking her “heart a little more everyday.”

The Duduke crooner expressed concern about how Nigerians are dealing with the current economic crisis.

On her Twitter handle on Wednesday night, she wrote, “Nigeria just breaks my heart a little more everyday. How are people surviving?”

Recall that pump price of fuel skyrocketed to N612 per litre after President Bola Tinubu removed subsidy from petrol.

Consequently, the price of foodstuffs and cost of living generally increased in the country.
