Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, better known by his stage name Brymo, a Nigerian singer, has made a startling admission about why he declined Simi’s request for a feature.

Brymo revealed that both Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, had contacted him about features but that he had turned down their request. A fan had suggested that Adekunle Gold feature Brymo on his upcoming album, “Tequila Ever After.”

Simi, in particular, he claimed, refused to “get intimate” with him, so he refused to work with her.

Brymo wrote: “Though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate, because I turned down same request many years before. I also did same with Simi, said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity. I didn’t know they were together, of course.”
