‘No pressure from family to get married’ – Actress Peju Johnson
Peju Johnson, a Nollywood actress, has stated that she is enjoying her best life and is not under any marital pressure.
According to the Osun State-born Script Interpreter, this is due to her understanding family members.
“My family has never pressured me about marriage. I’ve got a very understanding mother and siblings. They know God’s time is the best and wouldn’t want me to rush into anything that ain’t genuine. Right now, I am even in a complicated relationship but I wouldn’t want to divulge further. But you see those online family/ Fans, their pressure has been too much through comments, Dms. It has become an everyday thing. Asking me about man and marriage plans. Not just that,
some guys on social media even told me that they have plenty of my pictures on their phone that they use to masturbate. Like they are turned on and hard seeing my pictures or videos (laughs),” she said in a recent interview.
Asked if she would ever be caught publicly fighting over a man she loves, the Payback star actress maintained that only men are allowed to fight over her and not the other way round.
Hear her: “Never! I’m a lover girl, I love, love , but I wouldn’t even be with a man that’s going to put me in that kind of situation in the first place. If I’m to fight over a man that means he never loves me. So, there’s no reason for me to stay. But a man can fight for me though.”
