I’ll mourn Sound Sultan till I join him – 2baba

On Tuesday, Singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, paid tributes to his late friend and colleague Sound Sultan.

The ‘Motherland’ singer passed away on July 11, 2021. This is the second anniversary of his death.

2baba shared old photos of him and the deceased on his Instagram page and vowed to mourn till he joins Sound Sultan.

“Mourn U till Eye join u,” he wrote.

Sound Sultan died after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma better known as cancer of the throat.

Before his death, he underwent chemotherapy in the United States.

Last year, 2baba marked the first anniversary, stressing how badly he missed Sound Sultan.

“#GRATEFUL#Warrior. A GUY was light years ahead. Miss u till I join u,” he wrote.
