Influencer Blessing CEO not arrested – Police
The Lagos State Police Command has denied reports that social media influencer Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, had been arrested.
Blessing CEO was reportedly detained by police for her alleged involvement in the case involving businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD and his late wife, Bimbo.
A video that went viral on Instagram and Twitter on Thursday showed the influencer being led to an armoured police car.
However, spokesman of the police in Lagos Benjamin Hundeyin told newsmen that “she was not arrested by the Lagos state police.”
He, however, did not provide further details.
Blessing CEO reportedly avoided court appearances for weeks before the police swooped in on her.
The self-acclaimed relationship expert had pointed fingers at the elder sister of the late Bimbo and accused the family of going after IVD’s property and his life.
She also alleged that the late Bimbo was equally not a saint, adding that the deceased physically abused her husband several times before her demise.
