Singer Tems’ outfit gets ‘fashion police’ talking as singer loses Oscars
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Tems, who lost at the 2023 Oscars, has the fashion police and many others talking about her outfit.
On Sunday, March 12, the 2023 Oscars ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Tems received the nomination for “Best Original Song” for her role in “Lift me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The Nigerian singer turned heads at the event by arriving in a stunning white dress. The stunning dress appears to be one of the most well-liked items on the red carpet at the ceremony.
The outfit was paired with an unusual headpiece, which drew criticism because Tems was accused of obstructing people’s views inside the auditorium. Many people feel that even though the attire is appropriate for the red carpet, it should have been taken off before the ceremony started.
As if that was not enough, Tems unfortunately, lost the ‘Bear Original Song’ award to “NAATU NAATU” from the hit Telugu-language film RRR. NAATU NAATU made history by becoming the first Indian film song to win an Oscar.
