Funke Akindele expresses gratitude to Ruth Kadiri for endorsing her

Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress and politician, has thanked Ruth Kadiri for her support.

Recall that since announcing her political project, Funke Akindele has received less support from her colleagues in Lagos, where she is the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

While others have sided with the Labour Party and the incumbent governor of Lagos, who is seeking a second term, Ruth Kadiri has endorsed Funke.

Under the PDP umbrella, the mother of two endorsed Funke Akindele for Deputy Governor of Lagos.

The actress took to Instagram to explain why she supports the actress turned politician.

She qualified Funke as being hardworking, tough, emotional and so on

She wrote: It’s election season! And @funkejenifaakindele is my candidate.

You’re tough
You’re emotional
Above all you’re disciplined.
You dare to tread where others won’t fly.

Under Ruth Kadiri ‘s comment section, Funke Akindele expressed gratitude to her for the support.

“Thank you Ruth”.
