Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje react as Tems wins her first Grammy Award

Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, and Waje, three well-known female musicians from Nigeria, have congratulated Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, on winning her first Grammy.

The “Free mind” singer, who was nominated in the categories of “Best Melodic Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song,” won the “Best Melodic Rap Performance” award on Sunday night for her work on Future and Drake’s hit song “Wait for U.”

Nigerians have praised the winner as one of the biggest female singers and have widely celebrated her victory.
