“She is winning awards with her cloth on” – Actor Henry Arnold shades Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, others as he celebrates Tems Grammy win

Henry Arnold, a Nollywood actor, celebrated Tems Grammy award by subtly criticising singers Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, and others.

The actor observed that Tems, the current hot commodity, was taking home both international and Academy Awards while still wearing her clothes.

He complimented her, saying that her action was graceful.

“Tems is winning Global and Academy Awards with her clothes on. Yes fully dressed. Isn’t that Graceful?”.

His remarks are undoubtedly a jab at female artists like Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, and others who are known for wearing skimpy, suggestive clothing.

This is not the first instance in which Tems’ rising fame has been used to disparage Tiwa Savage.

Nigerians make fun of Tiwa Savage for being nominated for a Grammy.

Recall how Tiwa was made fun of by Nigerians for her famous sex tape? This happened after Speed Darlington criticised her lyrics in Asake’s music and Tems’ two Grammy nominations in a video.

Tiwa Savage revisited her 2021 sex tape scandal in the song “Loaded,” which she wrote with Asake.

The 42-year-old single mother of one, Tiwa Savage, sang in a review of her leaked sex video that the scandal could not ruin her life.

“They planned against me, but sex tape can’t ruin my life,” she sang in Yoruba in the 2:49seconds video directed by TG Omori.

Reacting to the song, Speed Darlington slammed the songstress for addressing her leaked sex tape and dared her to release another sex tape and see if it won’t destroy her life.

Mimicking her, Speed Darlington said: “Sex tape ko ni ba aye mi je (sex ta pe can’t destroy my life). Na wetin this girl dey sing, wetin be her name? Tiwa S@vage… sex take ko ni ba aye mi je. E go ba aye e je (it will destroy your life). Do more, release more make we see if e no go ba aye re je (release more sex tape lest see if it won’t destroy your life)”.

Prior to that, Tems had been nominated for 2023 Grammy for her song with American rapper, Future and Drake.

Using it against Tiwa, Nigerians had mocked Tiwa over the s*x tape and her shameless lyrics.
