Julius Agwu confirms marriage crash

Julius Agwu, a veteran Nollywood actor and comedian,  has confirmed the end of his marriage to Ibiere.

The Wives on Strike actor confirmed this in a recent Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, months after rumours that his wife had abandoned him due to illness circulated social media.

Addressing the rumour, the 49-year-old confirmed that his wife left him.

“My wife said she not marrying me again. She said she’s tired of the marriage and that she is not marrying me again, that’s why I said I thank God for my life. Satan works in mysterious ways and God works in miraculous ways,” he said in parts.

In a January 2018 interview with the Punch Newspapers, Julius Agwu describes his marriage as the beast decision he has ever made and his wife, a godsend.

“Marriage is the best decision I have ever made in life because my wife has been a godsend. God will bless her for me because He hasn’t started yet. When I look at her and our children, I always thank God because she is the only one for me,” he said.

Julius and Ibiere celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on May 12, 2020.
