EndSARS memorial: Police fire tear gas at protesters (VIDEO)

Following the ongoing memorial procession to mark the second anniversary of the shooting that claimed many lives, the police on Thursday opened fire with tear gas at the Lekki Tollgate.

Recall how, exactly two years ago, shootings at the Lekki Tollgate, purportedly carried out by the Nigerian Army to quell youth protests against police brutality, sent the entire country into mourning?

Amnesty International and other Nigerians claimed that Nigerian Army soldiers shot at the protesters.

In remembrance of the tragic incident, the youths returned to the same location today, Thursday.
