Why Funke Akindele can’t reply birthday message – Iyabo Ojo

Iyabo Ojo, an actress, has stated that her colleague Funke Akindele is unable to respond to her birthday message on Instagram because they have blocked each other on the platform.

On Wednesday, the 44-year-old received backlash from critics for celebrating Funke’s 45th birthday.

“Fly high birthday girl. More blessings, more success, more wins. Happy birthday mate,” she wrote to the celebrant.

Reacting in the comment section of the post, an Instagram user identified as Tscents knocked the actress for celebrating Funke.

“You too like Oju aye. Somebody you’re not following why post her on your page ma?” Tscents wrote.

Another user identified as Peace _123 added: “Na busy body dey do her. Funke did not even reply her.”

Iyabo responded to the critic by saying that since their argument was resolved, she and Funke have been attempting to unblock each other on Instagram.

“Ode odugbo….. Funke & I blocked ourselves and we have been trying to unblock each other, if you’re well informed you well know that IG as made its difficult to unblock each other each other once you both block each other… wisdom is profitable to direct,” she wrote.
Iyabo and Funke officially ended their feud at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

In September 2021, Iyabo Ojo accused Funke of sponsoring a negative review of Toyin Abraham’s film The Ghost and the Tout Too.
