Streamer Carter Efe has stirred fresh controversy by claiming that fellow content creators Peller and Jarvis were pushed into marriage by internet pressure and will eventually regret it.
Speaking on the Madame Joyce podcast, Carter explained why he refuses to date anyone in the content or celebrity space.
“I can’t date a content creator because the fans will pressure you into doing things and thrash you out when they’re done using you,” he said.
When Joyce pointed out that Peller and Jarvis appear to be doing well, Carter pushed back.
“Just calm down, you’ll see it very soon. That’s why I wasn’t invited to their marriage. I wasn’t invited because they believe I’m a witch — an hater. I’ve been there, I know how women who love the content world behave. They get easily distracted by what’s being said about them online and allow it controls them when they’re in a relationship. I can’t date a content creator or any famous person. See the problem with Offset and Cardi B.”
Asked whether he believes the couple’s relationship is genuine, he pointed to public pressure.
“It’s pressure. It’s online pressure that makes people do what they’re not supposed to do. In trying to prove people that speak negatively on their loyalty wrong, they rush into marriage. The internet will use your head and you’ll start regretting it 4/5 years later after realizing the internet doesn’t care about you. You just have to live your life.”
Peller has now hit back hard. In videos circulating online, he accused Carter of constantly coming for him and his wife despite claiming respect.
“Carterefe, I respect you a lot if not I would have ended your career a long time ago. I’ll be on my own you’ll be coming for me and my wife. You’ve not taken care of your child. When Jarvis gives birth, you’ll know how much I love her more,” Peller said.
He also accused Carter of always advising him to leave Jarvis and of being too focused on competition.
“You are always advising me to leave Jarvis and you like competition too much. Kai Cenat and Speed are doing things together but you are always looking for who to compete with.”
In another clip, Peller referenced past collaboration talks and took personal shots at Carter’s private life and his child’s mother, Elma. He claimed Carter once wanted daily livestream collabs for views, but he warned that fans would get tired.
The exchange has turned an already tense streaming rivalry into a full public feud, with fans split between those who see Carter as speaking from experience and those who say he crossed the line by dragging a newly married couple.
