Nollywood actress and reality star Venita Akpofure has opened up about her dating life at 39, revealing that younger men are the ones boldly approaching her while older suitors hold back.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, the mother of two said her youthful looks continue to work in her favour.
“I am 39, but if I told you I was 28, you would believe me,” Venita stated.
She explained that the attention she receives comes almost exclusively from younger men.
“I only get approached by younger men. They are more courageous than the older ones.”
Venita then delivered a memorable line about what these younger admirers bring to the table.
“What they don’t have in their bank accounts, they make up for with bravery and audacity.”
The actress, who is divorced and previously dated fellow Big Brother Naija star Adekunle, suggested that older men may feel more hesitant because of her age and status. In contrast, the younger ones show no fear and go after what they want.
