Popular skit maker and content creator Sydney Egere, better known as Sydney Talker, has left fans stunned after revealing he has stayed celibate for nearly four years, crediting God’s grace for his strength amid the tough journey.
In a heartfelt video posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday, July 23, 2026, the comedian disclosed that July 27 would mark exactly four years since he last shared a bed with a woman.
“27th of this month will make it four years of celibacy for me. Technically, what I am trying to say is I have not slept on the same bed with a woman for the past four years,” Sydney Talker said.
He admitted the sacrifice has not been easy but expressed deep gratitude:
“It’s not been easy, but I thank God. It is not by my power nor by my strength but by His grace.”
Sydney Talker explained that stepping away from emotional and physical distractions allowed him to deeply study the content creation industry and develop strategies for long-term success.
“In these past four years, I have studied my industry, content creation and I have come to a conclusion that if we do not put some things in place now, we will never get wealthy, so I took out time to study and stayed away from emotional activities and found solutions that will really help us as content creators,” he added.
