Music executive and entrepreneur Ubi Franklin has opened up painfully about one of his biggest life regrets (fathering children with different women) warning young men against falling into the same emotional trap.
In a raw and honest video shared on Instagram, the father of four children, each from different relationships, described the situation as “one of the worst things you could do to yourself,” despite having the financial means to care for them.
“One of the worst decisions you can ever make is to have kids with different women. I’m one of those people who are in it and I can tell you that no matter the money that you think that you have, having kids with multiple women should never be something that you want to do,” he stated.
Ubi stressed that the real struggle lies beyond finances.
“Taking care of them is not the problem. The problem is in managing the emotions of the adults who are their mothers.”
He urged men to avoid “baby mama drama” at all costs, noting that while some survive it, others might not.
“Children are the best things that can happen in our lives. If you can do anything, make sure you have all your kids with one woman,” he advised passionately.
