Fast-rising Nollywood actress Ogechukwu Anasor has ignited conversations after boldly revealing that she recently underwent cosmetic surgery procedures, declaring full satisfaction with her transformed appearance.

In a recent interview with NollyNow, the Enugu State-born actress, who has spent a decade in the industry, openly celebrated her decision without apology. Confidently, she said:

“I got my body done and I’m absolutely loving it.”

She described the move as a deeply personal choice, rejecting external judgment.

“My body, my money, my choice. It was a personal decision that I made for myself, and I’m happy with it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but at the end of the day, it’s my life and my decision. Do what works for you, and allow me to do what works for me. And please, let’s be honest, I’m not the problem of Nigeria.”

Ogechukwu emphasized that acting has helped her discover different sides of herself and build confidence. She credited resilience, patience, and self-belief for helping her navigate the competitive industry, refusing to be boxed into limited roles by directors.

On the pressures of celebrity life and social media scrutiny, the actress said she stays focused on her goals while protecting her mental space.

“Social media can be loud, but I’ve learned not to let public opinion dictate my decisions. I listen to constructive feedback, but I stay focused on my goals, my growth, and the kind of career I want to build.”

She also acknowledged the pressure to always look perfect but affirmed the importance of authenticity.

“I’ve realized that authenticity is more important than perfection. I love looking good, but I also give myself room to simply be human.”

Ogechukwu’s fearless embrace of cosmetic surgery adds her name to the growing list of Nollywood actresses openly owning body enhancements, sparking fresh debates about beauty standards and industry expectations in 2026.
