Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has thrown down the gauntlet in dramatic fashion, challenging her colleague and friend Funke Akindele to a celebrity boxing match following the buzz around the recent Portable versus Carter Efe showdown.
Eniola took to Instagram to issue the bold invitation, declaring it was time for the two stars to settle things in the ring.
“Funke Akindele, let’s get on the boxing ring. It’s about time.”
She further urged businessman Soso Soberekon (also known as E-Money) to invest in the potential bout, emphasising the financial opportunity.
“Soso E-Money, let’s get to it. No time. Money has to be made.”
The challenge comes amid the growing popularity of celebrity boxing events in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, where stars turn friendly rivalries or public personas into high-stakes spectacles that generate massive social media engagement and revenue.
Despite the playful nature of the call-out, the two actresses share a long-standing friendship within the Nollywood circle.
