Nollywood actress Seun Osigbesan received a heartfelt public tribute from her husband as she turned 40. The senior pastor of Gracemade Christian Center opened up during a church event, showering his wife with praise for single-handedly holding down their home financially during their toughest years.
In an emotional testimony that has gone viral, the clergyman revealed how Seun stood strong when he had little or nothing to offer.
“Even when I did not have anything, she was consistent and never complained. She carried a lot of burden, real bills, for at least seven years and never complained. She always tells me, ‘Baby, I believe in you, you can do it, you are a great man, you are a millionaire.’ Now she says, ‘You are a billionaire.’ She kept speaking those words into my life, and that kept me going.”
The pastor did not shy away from painting the grim picture of their struggles. He disclosed that there was a time the family could not afford basic needs.
“There was a time, we could not afford diapers, and she used black nylon as diapers for the children. At a point, what the family ate was pap for breakfast, pap for lunch and pap for dinner.”
Despite the extreme hardship, he stressed that Seun never belittled or disrespected him.
“She never said, ‘What kind of man is this?’ She never made me feel like I was failing.”
The pastor described his wife as an extraordinary woman and urged the congregation to celebrate her.
