Nollywood actress Bidemi Kosoko, daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, has welcomed a new baby with her husband, bringing joy to the Kosoko and Bankole families.
The good news was confirmed on Instagram by her elder sister, Shola Kosoko, who shared an emotional message of gratitude and celebration.
“Praiseeee God. Awesome God. The author and finisher of our faith. Join us to welcome our newest baby in the family to @bidemi_kosoko. Congratulations to the BANKOLE and KOSOKO Family.”

Bidemi is the daughter of legendary actor Jide Kosoko and the late actress Henrietta Kosoko. Over the years, she has built a steady career in Nollywood, featuring in films such as Marriage Runs, Iwe Iranti, and Ewon Laafin.
This isn’t Bidemi’s first experience with motherhood. She welcomed a baby boy in 2019 shortly after her traditional wedding to Daniel Bankole. The couple later celebrated the birth of a baby girl in May 2022.
In a past interview, the actress opened up about her marriage, revealing that her husband’s spiritual calling as a Shepherd once created serious tension in their relationship.
She also addressed conversations about marrying later than expected, explaining that although she always hoped to marry early, life unfolded differently. According to her, she tied the knot at 32.
The new baby’s arrival comes after a challenging period in Bidemi’s life. In 2023, she lost her home to a fire incident, a heartbreaking event that deeply moved fans and colleagues at the time.
