Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has clashed publicly with Grace Ayotomide Labinjoh, the mother of Anu Adeleke, amid the ongoing paternity controversy involving Afrobeats star Davido.
The heated exchange followed Daddy Freeze’s intervention in the saga, where he claimed that Davido is not Anu’s father after allegedly reviewing one of the DNA test results linked to the case.
Reacting sharply, Anu’s mother dismissed the test as fake and manipulated, insisting that only one DNA test was ever conducted in 2014 and that it did not follow proper procedures. She alleged that no DNA swab was taken during the test, claiming instead that blood samples were drawn separately without transparency.
She wrote, “Daddy Freeze, we will request another test because the only DNA test that was done was altered in September 2014. There was no DNA swab. They took Anu’s blood, and Davido’s blood was drawn separately in a room in which we were not allowed to enter.”
Ayotomide further challenged claims that five DNA tests had been carried out, saying there is no official record to support such assertions.
“The ONLY DNA TEST he did is what you saw. Post it! The false negative test with a big bag of money,” she alleged. “There is no record of 5 DNA tests anywhere, and I never picked any hospital. Dr Adeleke picked the hospital lab and paid for it. It is not ours.”

She accused influential voices of misleading the public and insisted that her family did not select any testing centre in Lagos.
“Stop using the power of influence to brainwash Nigerians to believe lies. Money cannot buy everything,” she added.
Responding, Daddy Freeze took a more advisory tone, urging her to focus on raising her daughter independently and to take the matter off social media. He questioned whether the situation would be different if the father were deceased.
“You are just like a daughter to me because your father was my lecturer,” Freeze said. “I will advise you to raise this child yourself and do everything to make sure she becomes successful. If the father is dead, will you not raise her?”
The media personality warned that Davido could legally respond if he feels harassed and cautioned her about the possible consequences of sustained online pressure.
“Nobody can force Davido to take a DNA test,” Freeze said. “He can file that you are harassing him, and the government will give you a restraining order.”
He also advised her to seek legal redress if necessary, recommending prominent lawyers for pro bono support, while urging discretion in how the story is presented publicly.
The DNA saga between Davido and Anu Adeleke’s family has continued to generate intense debate online, with public figures, fans and commentators taking sides as emotions and allegations escalate.
