Sammy West Assures Regina Daniels After Bail Grant — I’ll Go to Prison Again If It Means Nobody Go Beat You

Sammy West, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has spoken for the first time since his release from police custody, assuring his sister of his unwavering support.

In a short FaceTime video shared online, Sammy told Regina that he is willing to face jail again if it means protecting her from further harm.

“For my family matter, I am ready to go to prison five times, as far as say nobody go beat you again”, he said.

The actress, who appeared emotional, replied affectionately:

“I love you so much, my brother. Nobody go beat me again and na my brother talk am.”

Sammy was reportedly detained for a week in Abuja following the ongoing dispute between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Last week, Regina took to her Instagram story to raise alarm over her brother’s arrest, alleging that he was beaten and detained unjustly. She also accused Nwoko of using his power and connections against her family, claiming he wanted her to return to him and go back to rehab.

His release has sparked reactions on social media, with many fans praising Sammy for standing by his sister despite the controversy.

A user identified as @MissFawzia_ wrote, “He’s a good brother.” Another, @Esmart26, commented, “That’s what a good brother should do.” @Gavooo10 added, omo the boy is going through a lot.”

Others, however, advised caution, saying the matter involves influence and power. @DanielsMdas wrote, “You can’t win against the rich in Nigeria. Make the werey just calm down.”

Sammy’s statement comes amid continuous public attention on the rift between Regina and Senator Nwoko, which has dominated social media discussions in recent weeks.
