Comedians Ayobami Ajewole, known as Woli Agba, and Olamide Oladimeji, known as Dele Omo Woli, have threatened legal action against anyone linking them to the death of gospel minister Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings.
In a public notice shared on Woli Agba’s Instagram page on Sunday, their solicitors, Gemgold Solicitors, warned the public against spreading what they described as false and defamatory claims against both entertainers.
The notice, dated October 23, 2026, stated that the allegations were “entirely false, unsubstantiated, and unfounded,” adding that the publications were “calculated to tarnish our Clients’ hard-earned reputations, expose them to public ridicule, and incite hostility against them.”
The solicitors went further, warning that liability extends beyond whoever originated the content.
“Anyone who originates, publishes, forwards, or endorses defamatory material is equally liable under the law,” the notice stated.
Individuals and platforms that continue circulating the allegations risk “swift legal action, including claims for substantial damages and injunctive relief.”
The development comes as similar allegations have swirled around gospel singer Tope Alabi, who has also threatened legal action against Canada-based pastor Tayo Kumuyi, known as Pastor Tayo Ministries, over Facebook publications allegedly linking her to the deaths of Toluwanisings and other gospel ministers.
