“Tummy Tuck Safer Than C-Section!” — Uche Ogbodo

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has strongly defended cosmetic surgery, claiming liposuction is a safe and straightforward procedure while insisting a tummy tuck carries less risk than a Caesarean section.

Speaking on the Awesome Family Podcast, the mother of three compared the two operations in detail.

“Liposuction is not the riskiest surgery, it is actually a safe simple surgery. Tummy tuck is safer than a Caesarian section to me cause a CS cut through all the layers of your skin to get to the baby but a tummy tuck is just two layers,” she said.

Ogbodo, who has openly discussed her own body enhancement procedures including Brazilian Butt Lift and liposuction in the past, said her personal experience transformed her into a full advocate. She revealed that she now works as a consultant for plastic surgery in Nigeria.

“I became a full advocate for it. I am now a consultant for plastic surgery in Nigeria. I now know that plastic surgery returns a woman’s libido to 100%,” the actress stated.

She went further, describing additional benefits she believes the procedures bring. According to her, women who previously struggled with arousal or lubrication experience major improvements.

“If you didn’t use to get wet, you will start getting wet. It comes with a lot of advantages because it is miracle in a package,” she added.

The comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising her openness while others question the medical comparisons she made between elective cosmetic procedures and necessary childbirth surgeries.

Ogbodo has long been vocal about her decision to undergo body contouring after three Caesarean deliveries, previously explaining that the changes to her figure affected her confidence and mental health. She continues to promote informed choices and professional guidance for women considering similar procedures.
