“I’m Not Your Baby!” — Caramel Plug Slams Anita Joseph Over AI Edit

Nollywood actress Anita Joseph finds herself at the centre of fresh online drama after influencer Caramel Plug publicly called her out for allegedly editing and cropping her photo without permission. The embarrassing exchange escalated quickly on social media, with both women trading words in a very public spat that has left fans divided.

The saga began when Caramel Plug accused Anita of stealing her image and editing out her head, reportedly using artificial intelligence. Hours later, Anita issued a heartfelt apology, blaming the mishap on her AI assistant. She wrote:

“Chai, my AI boy said it was an inspiration from AI; this guy wants to implicate me, my God. Sorry baby. I can’t even be cut up in this kind of mess. I’m so sorry. But you look great. He put my face and my hair, chai, this boy oh.”

She added that she has tons of clothes and loves taking pictures, insisting she only wanted to promote the work.

Caramel Plug, however, was not convinced. In her swift response, she dismissed the apology and made her stance crystal clear:

“Lol, okay, ensure your imaginary AI boy does better next time. Secondly, I’m not your baby, I really don’t know you. Stay safe.”

The influencer’s rejection of the “baby” endearment and claim of unfamiliarity added fuel to the fire, turning what could have been a simple mix-up into a full-blown exchange.

Anita hit back almost immediately.

“You see the embarrassment you caused me. Caramel, I don’t blame you at all, it’s @ancestral_tech_ai I blame,” she posted, shifting the blame squarely to the tech studio behind the AI tool.

Her tone mixed frustration with a touch of sarcasm as she expressed regret over the whole situation.

The incident involving Anita Joseph and Caramel Plug regarding AI-edited images ignited intense debate over image rights and the risks of digital likeness manipulation. While fans reacted to the prompt apology and the call for digital protection, the controversy highlights the high-stakes dangers public figures face with AI-generated content in the digital age.

The feud, though brief, serves as a timely reminder of how quickly minor mishaps can spiral into public drama in today’s social media landscape.
