Media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has sparked massive reactions after boldly claiming that men are terrible liars who assume women are too naive to catch their inconsistencies.
Speaking on the latest episode of MENtality with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the outspoken host and author argued that men often deliver lies without proper planning, making it easy for their partners to spot the flaws.
“Men are not that great at lying. They think, ‘If I tell you this, it can become your truth if you never find out the other side,’” she said.

“The problem with a man is that men don’t even think about it. They lie like we’re stupid. They don’t even think about it. You always know when they’re lying,” she stated.
According to her, if asked the same question weeks later, many men unintentionally contradict themselves, unlike women who supposedly think through their lies more carefully.
“If you ask the same man in the next three weeks, he will say something different. But a woman, before she tells you that lie, it’s actually low-key disrespectful because she has thought about it,” Makinwa added.
