It Burned My Face — Kehinde Adegbodu Breaks Silence After Fire Accident

Popular Ibadan-based gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has finally addressed concerns about his well-being following a minor fire incident at his home that left visible injuries on his body.

In a heartfelt video shared on social media, the surviving half of the Adegbodu Twins assured fans and well-wishers that he is recovering well and remains medically fit despite the accident.

“To everyone that is worried about me, I am very okay and medically fit. I had a minor fire accident in the house but I decided not to post about it on social media. It affected my left hand and some parts of my face, including my lips.”

The singer firmly dismissed rumours suggesting the incident was a spiritual attack.

“It was not a spiritual attack. Everyone has one or two things they are battling with medically and spiritually. Just remember me in your prayers.”

Kehinde also responded to those linking the fire to his alcohol consumption and speculating about his health and recent weight loss.

“To those saying my alcohol consumption is too much, alcohol didn’t cause the fire. I lost some weight because of my health. When Taiwo passed away, people called me that my stomach was too big and I should work on it. I am not sick.”

This latest challenge comes months after the painful loss of his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu, who passed away in March 2026.
