Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has raised alarm online, claiming that police officers have surrounded her home and that Pastor Chris Okafor is behind the move. In an emotional video posted on social media, Ogala expressed fear for her safety and issued a direct warning to the public.
“I have police people in my house, I do not know where they are coming from. I do not know how they entered my house. Chris is the one sending them. They have surrounded my house. If you people do not see me again, hold Chris Okafor.”
Ogala further alleged that Okafor has taken her to multiple police stations and courts in recent times, claiming the latest development is part of ongoing harassment.
“There is one in zone 2. There is one in Abuja zone 7.”
The latest outburst stems from a long-running public feud between Ogala and the popular clergyman. The conflict intensified last year after a video of Okafor’s engagement to Pearl Okafor surfaced online. Ogala has repeatedly claimed she was in a romantic relationship with him since 2017 and that she ended her previous marriage at his request. She has accused him of betrayal after years of intimacy and repeated promises of marriage.
Earlier this year, Ogala issued an ultimatum demanding marriage or financial compensation, later escalating to a N1 billion damages notice for alleged breach of promise. She has also claimed Okafor was complicit in the poisoning and death of her brother. Okafor proceeded with his white and traditional wedding to Pearl despite the accusations.
In response to Ogala’s earlier outbursts, Okafor initially described her actions as “the devil’s anger” over his marital happiness. He later knelt publicly and apologised to her, acknowledging the truth of her claims about their past relationship, but retracted the apology a few weeks later.
As of the time of writing this report, no official statement from Pastor Chris Okafor or his representatives has addressed the specific allegation of sending police to her home.
