Fresh controversy has emerged in the ongoing online drama surrounding influencer King Mitchy, after Prime Care Hospitals publicly denied reports that she died at its Abuja facility.
In an official statement shared on Instagram, the hospital firmly dismissed the circulating claims, describing them as false and misleading.
“The management of Prime Care Hospitals wishes to inform the public that the announcement of the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our facility in Abuja is FALSE.”
The hospital clarified that the influencer was never admitted there and did not pass away at their facility.
“King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here.”
Beyond denying the claim, the hospital revealed it has begun working with authorities to track down the origin of the misinformation.
Management also warned that legal action will follow once those responsible are identified.
“We are working with the authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible.”

They further urged the public to rely only on verified information from official channels before sharing sensitive reports online.
The hospital’s statement comes shortly after reports surfaced online alleging Mitchy had died following a medical emergency in Abuja, a claim widely circulated across social media.
The situation has intensified confusion among followers, especially as the influencer has been at the centre of a heated digital feud involving activist Very Dark Man and public discussions that also referenced Seyi Tinubu.
With multiple narratives emerging from different sources, the hospital’s intervention marks the first official institutional response directly challenging the death reports.
