Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has openly shared why she supports plastic surgery, describing body enhancement as a personal choice that can boost confidence and self-esteem.
The 39-year-old mother of three, who recently underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift and a full mummy makeover, said she has no regrets about her decision and is comfortable encouraging women who choose similar procedures.
Speaking in an interview with Saturday Sun, the actress made it clear that she sees nothing wrong with improving one’s appearance through medical procedures.
“There’s nothing wrong with being beautiful. Nothing wrong in surgically enhancing your beauty,” she said.
“We are women. You need to look like a flower that you are. You need to be more beautiful so you can own the world. After plastic surgery, you become a glorious baddie, you will be more gorgeous and have everything going for you.”
According to her, body enhancement should not be treated as shameful or controversial, stressing that the decision is deeply personal and should be respected.
Beyond her physical transformation, the actress also spoke warmly about her marriage, describing her husband as supportive and loving. She said the simple things he does make their relationship enjoyable.
“My husband is a sweet man. He does little things that are funny and fun to be around. He’s a quiet person, very quiet, but when he’s in a good mood, he wants to chit-chat,” she said.
She added that she admires his character and dedication to his career as a lawyer, noting that she would not want to change anything about him.
“He’s very supportive of his friends. He’s a good man with so much love to give… God made him the way he is for a reason,” she said.
The actress has previously shared details of her cosmetic procedures with fans online and continues to balance her acting career with family life.
