Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding her marriage to businessman Olakunle Churchill, following his public reunion with ex-wife Tonto Dikeh at their son’s birthday celebration.
The buzz began after photos and videos from the 10th birthday party of King Andre flooded social media, showing Churchill and Tonto together in what many described as a reconciliatory moment. Soon after, rumours emerged that Rosy had unfollowed her husband on Instagram, sparking talks of marital tension.
In a series of videos shared online on Wednesday, Rosy shut down the claims, insisting she never unfollowed her husband and had no reason to do so.
“I got a lot of calls today from people asking why I unfollowed my husband on Instagram. I never unfollowed him, and I never will… I am not that petty. You guys will wait forever,” she said.
The actress questioned why critics chose King Andre’s birthday to stir controversy, stressing that there was no issue in her home.
“You picked his son’s birthday of all days to fly the narrative that I unfollowed him. My husband and I are cool. He is presently in Lagos with his son,” she added.
Rosy also addressed long-standing claims that she was once friends with Tonto before marrying Churchill, dismissing the allegations as outright lies.
“I was never my husband’s ex’s friend. I have never met or seen her. We don’t have each other’s numbers… All the news that I was her best friend and I snatched her hubby is all lies.”
Clarifying her stance on the reunion, Rosy said she fully supports Churchill’s relationship with his son and knew about the reconciliation before it became public.
“If God says it is time for him and his ex to reunite because of their son, who am I to say no? Please let my husband spend time with his son in peace,” she said.
She concluded by firmly asserting her place in the marriage:
“Anyone who has proof that I snatched him should bring it out. I am still Mrs Churchill. Clock it.”
Churchill and Rosy, who married after his divorce from Tonto Dikeh, share two children together. Despite constant online scrutiny, the actress says she has chosen peace and growth over public drama.
