Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has fired back strongly at a social media user who made serious allegations linking him to his colleague, Bambam.
The controversy began after rumours surfaced online about a possible crisis in Bambam’s marriage to reality TV star Teddy A. Amid the speculation, an X user claimed that Teddy A had divorced his wife after allegedly discovering she was pregnant for Uzor Arukwe.
The viral post further alleged that the discovery came through leaked private chats, a claim that quickly spread across social media and triggered heated reactions. But Uzor Arukwe is not taking the accusation lightly.
Responding to the claims, the actor issued a stern warning, making it clear he intends to take decisive action against the account behind the rumour.
“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumours and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry,” he wrote.
He added that he deliberately refused to mention the account publicly to avoid giving it attention, but warned of serious consequences.
“Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat. Hence, others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation.”
The drama comes at a time when social media has been buzzing over Bambam and Teddy A after fans noticed the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. Observers also pointed out that Teddy A deleted photos of Bambam from his page and shared solo festive content.
However, filmmaker Onyeka Nwelue, who is said to be close to the couple, has dismissed the rumours, insisting their marriage remains intact and stable.
Bambam and Teddy A, who met during Big Brother Naija and married in 2019, share two daughters together and have long been regarded as one of reality TV’s most admired couples.
