The ongoing family dispute between Nigerian singer Harrysong and his estranged wife, Alexer Peres, has taken a new turn after she publicly accused him of manipulating their children and sharing posts suggesting they do not want to be with her.
In a series of posts shared via her Instagram story, Alexer expressed anger over what she described as attempts to turn the children against her.
“Manipulating and posting my kids that they don’t want to be with their mother is sickening smh. That’s the extent you’d go to take them from me? No problem. I’m not backing down anymore. I’m fighting to the last for my kids. Let’s go to court,” she wrote.
Her statement signals a possible legal battle over custody.
Just a day earlier, Alexer had shared an emotional video announcing her decision to temporarily give up custody of their two children. She described it as the hardest decision of her life, citing prolonged pressure since her separation from the singer.
She also alleged that Harrysong frequently appeared at her residence unannounced and interfered in her personal space.
In response, Harrysong said he has chosen to remain silent for the sake of their children and their mother. He stated that he is an active father who continues to provide for them.
According to him, the narrative being painted about him is hurtful and could damage the image and career that supports the children’s future.
The pair’s marital crisis has played out publicly over the past year. Alexer had earlier hinted at ending the marriage before confirming the separation.
She also previously spoke about losing a pregnancy during a difficult period in their relationship.
Harrysong, on his part, had accused her of infidelity during the marriage, including while she was pregnant. He also made claims involving her mother and Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko, alleging outside influence in their split.
Alexer fired back at the time with personal jabs, while Harrysong later described himself as relieved to be out of the marriage.
