Fresh drama has hit Nollywood as actress Olatoun Olanrewaju released a leaked audio conversation allegedly involving Iyan Aladuke, the estranged wife of filmmaker and actor Femi Adebayo.
In the viral recording, a female voice, said to be Iyan Aladuke is heard making explosive statements about Femi Adebayo and his father, veteran actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello.
At one point in the conversation, the voice says:
“I will destroy the name he is trying to protect beyond measure… and he would later have a stroke.”
The speaker also allegedly threatened to target Femi Adebayo’s social media presence, saying:
“The least I intend to do now is to bring down his Instagram page so he can feel the heat, because he values it so much.”
The recording surfaced shortly after Olatoun publicly accused Iyan Aladuke of betrayal and of spreading damaging claims about her.
Responding in an emotional statement, Olatoun said she once took Iyan to a church for prayers, but was later accused of taking her to a shrine as part of an alleged plot to manipulate Femi Adebayo.
Olatoun said:
“I took you to a church to pray. You used that as part of your story to build a lie to blackmail him to return home… I was hearing from different angles that I took you to a shrine. Me, Olatoun.”
She added that releasing the audio was her only way to defend her name:
“How do I defend myself without this recording?”
The controversy adds a new layer to the already troubled situation surrounding Femi Adebayo’s estranged marriage, which has been the subject of social media debates in recent months.
Neither Femi Adebayo nor his father, Oga Bello, has publicly reacted to the leaked recording as of the time of report.
The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans expressing shock over the tone of the alleged threats and concern about how deeply personal disputes within the Nollywood circle are now playing out in public.
