Popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has stirred fresh reactions online after hinting that he may quit school just days after celebrating his admission to study law.
In a voice note shared with fans on Tuesday, the social media star complained that attending classes was affecting his ability to earn money.
“Guys, I swear to God, I remember I said I am going to school… I am not going again. I am not going again.”
Peller explained that sitting in lectures for hours without making income felt like a bad trade-off.
“I just remember, I was inside class for four hours. I didn’t make any money. I will write, I will look, I will play, not making anything. God forbid. I am not doing that one again.”
The influencer, who recently announced his admission into a private university in Lagos to study law, also said he felt out of place among other students.
“When I enter the school, I notice that everyone is old, I am the only young blood there.”
According to him, school may have to wait until later in life.
“So I need to go old. Maybe when I clock like 30, 40 years, I will now go to school. Please cancel everything. I am tired.”
The comments mark a sharp turnaround from his earlier excitement. In a now-viral video shared days ago, Peller proudly revealed he had secured admission and was ready to prove critics wrong.
“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated… Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school. “I’m now studying law. You can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law.”
Peller has faced repeated online criticism about his grammar and educational background. Earlier this month, he had said returning to school would help him improve his spoken English.
Now, his latest remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with fans debating whether education or digital income should take priority at this stage of his career.
