Nigerian gospel music star Tope Alabi is filled with joy as she officially steps into a new grandmother role.
The beloved singer could not hide her emotions after her daughter, Ayomiku Alabi, welcomed her first child, a beautiful baby girl, with her husband. The good news surfaced on Friday as Ayomiku shared maternity photos and heartwarming images of herself and her husband cradling their newborn.
An emotional Tope Alabi took to social media to celebrate the newest addition to her family, expressing deep gratitude to God and pride in her daughter.
“I’m eternally grateful to God for this joyful addition to my family. Indeed Ayomiku, ayo si kun inu mi. My beautiful, strong girl @the_ayomikualabi_ I am so proud of the woman and mother you have become. Welcome to the world, my darling grandchild, I have dreamt of holding you for so long and now I’m showering you with kisses as I watch you grow. Being your grandma is my new favourite role.
