Nigerian rapper Davolee has stepped into the center of a fresh hip-hop storm, firing back at Dremo and Kabex with a sharp diss track that has fans buzzing across social media.
The clash began on January 17, when Dremo and Kabex freestyled over a Dremo beat and took subtle shots at Ata Rodo, name-dropping him and questioning his rap skills. The moment quickly caught attention online, with listeners waiting to see if Davolee would respond.
He did not keep fans waiting. Just hours later, on January 18, Davolee struck back with a street-heavy diss titled “Apari Ati Dandruff.” In the 2:28 track, packed with raw Yoruba wordplay, Davolee accused Kabex of previously begging for collaborations and mocked Dremo’s solo hits.
The response was instant. Dremo reacted publicly, calling the diss “hard”, adding laughing emojis to show he was unfazed by the lyrical attack.
Fans, however, had plenty to say:
Reacting online, Big Ayo wrote, “E sabi like craze, no be by shouting.” Tundemoore added, “E sabi diss pass all of them.” DotBoy simply said, “E too good.”
Sunkanmi commented, “Nobody fit match am for industry, e good scatter.” Venus noted Davolee’s calm precision, saying, “Davolee no get joy at all, he separately replied them jejely.” While Jeff summed it up with, “Rap made easy.”
So far, Kabex has remained silent, leaving fans wondering if another response is coming or if the diss ends here.
The clash has also revived conversations around Davolee’s history of unanswered disses and the ongoing hunger for attention and dominance within Nigeria’s hip-hop scene.
