Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has publicly called out popular aphrodisiac seller and self-styled therapist Jaruma, accusing her of misleading his son into making explicit content on social media and using his name and image to promote it.
In a strongly worded post shared online, the actor expressed outrage over what he described as indecent videos allegedly featuring his son, which he said were being promoted with his identity without consent. Emeka warned Jaruma to immediately take down his name and picture, stressing that he has no affiliation with her brand or products.
“JARUMA! JARUMA!! JARUMA!!! What the hell is this?” he wrote. “What’s my name and picture got to do with these disgusting videos? Most definitely, you’re looking for my trouble.”
The actor demanded an immediate takedown, adding, “If you know what’s good for you, remove my name and picture from all your rubbish contents of indecent posts immediately. I have nothing to do with your products, and I dissociate myself from your brand.”
Turning his attention to his son, Emeka Ike expressed deep disappointment, revealing that he had planned a different path for him. According to the actor, he sent his son to the university, but his education was cut short midway after being told that school was a “scam” and that influencing and entertainment would lead to quick success.
“Michael, I sent you to the university, and your mother pulled you out when you were about to enter year 2… encouraged you to become an influencer, singer and actor LIKE ME, and you will BLOW,” he wrote.
“So, is this it?”
Emeka stated that he wanted his son to finish school first before venturing into acting, just as he did, describing the young man as his firstborn and pride.
“As Emeka Ike, I wanted you under my wings… I was firm on you finishing school first, like I did before I became an actor. Is that my crime?” he asked.
The actor further lamented that his son rejected what he called “home training” and is now being influenced by Jaruma.
“You refused home training; now JARUMA, of all brands, is training you,” he said, adding that his legal team was already looking into the situation.
Emeka also claimed he had made arrangements for his son to school and work abroad, with plans to help him build an independent life, but those plans were abandoned.
“I worked hard for that name. Stop messing with the huge E. I brand,” he warned.
“Get my name and picture off your disgusting business and page. I am a decent man, and the world knows this.”

The actor ended his post with a prayer, expressing hope that his son would “come back to his senses.”
This is not the first time Emeka Ike has publicly clashed with his son. In 2024, he openly criticised him for dropping out of school to pursue music and cautioned him against using his name for clout.
Emeka Ike’s personal life has often made headlines following his highly publicised divorce from Suzanne Emma in 2015 and the legal battles that followed. The actor has, over the years, spoken openly about the impact of the split on his career, finances, and relationship with his children.
